Bio

Sabrielle is a Vancouver-based soulful-pop artist with a “New York City voice”. Raised by songwriter parents, in a home where harmonies spilled across the kitchen table, music underscored all her earliest memories. She came to songwriting in the wake of a complete life unraveling. At its core, her music is a reclamation.

Inspired by the emotional candor of Sara Bareilles, the vocal ferocity of YEBBA, and the cinematic melancholy of Lana Del Rey, Sabrielle weaves adult contemporary music with threads of gospel, jazz, and R&B — the sounds that shaped her from childhood.

As a queer, neurodivergent woman who came into her identity through rupture and reinvention, Sabrielle writes about grief without sanitizing it, and self-discovery without apology. Her songs trace the tension between who she was told to be and who she is becoming — navigating dating, divorce, faith, mental health, and the quiet courage it takes to rebuild a life that finally fits. Sabrielle doesn’t just tell her story — she sings it into something bigger, creating space for others who are still finding their way home.

Described as “soul-stirring” and “transformative,” Sabrielle balances powerhouse vocals with emotional depth and vulnerability, for a performance that feels like a warm hug. Rooted in a deep care for community and human connection, she creates music not just to express herself, but to uplift others and remind people they are not alone in what they carry.

Sabrielle has performed across the lower mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Fraser Valley, from intimate pubs and coffee shops to festival stages and red curtain theatres. She leads a women’s vocal trio, Dia, and is the principal singer for the acclaimed "Winter Harp", which tours across BC every December.

Her debut single, “Wait I Can’t Bare”, generated buzz in several international music blogs. Check out the reviews here. With a 6-song EP, titled “Prologue”, to be released next May, and several other projects in the works, Sabrielle is one to watch this year!

“I just can't get the gorgeous tone of her voice out of my head. I can't put words to it to make sense but there was just something so pure and sincere that's struck me about her voice specifically.”

Sabrielle captivated me throughout the whole show by delivering strong performances of songs that ranged from the ballad, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow”, to some sassier, bolder pieces later on.
