Dia

is an all-women, powerhouse vocal performance trio that sings songs of hope, empowerment and justice for a changing world.

Rose McNeil, Sabrielle McCurdy and Heather Olson first joined voices in 2017 and have wowed audiences with their original arrangements, beautiful harmonies and soulful performances ever since. Rose (she/her) identifies as queer and non-monogamous. Originally from Nanaimo, BC, Rose comes from a very musical family and has a background in choral, pop and musical theatre. Heather (she/her) is a bisexual woman and a new mom living in Vancouver, BC. She grew up singing with her family band, “The Olson’s” and has a background in jazz and folk music. Sabrielle (she/her) also comes from an extremely musical family, and went on tour with her parents when she was less than a year old! She has a background in gospel, jazz, and pop music. Dia's music is best described as a blend of folk, pop and gospel, and is heavily influenced by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Brandi Carlisle, Sara Bareilles, Wailin' Jenny's and the Wyrd Sisters. Dia empowers people with their music and messages, and lifts up the voices of women and queer femme songwriters and artists.
